Your gift gives families somewhere to turn

Reuben’s Legacy — in memory of a beautiful little boy

We walk beside families after the death of a child, and families whose children face an uncertain future. Every donation keeps our door open.

Why your donation matters

Reuben’s Retreat exists because of one little boy, Reuben Michael Graham, and the family who refused to let other families face the unimaginable alone.

Our home in Glossop is a place to relax, recharge, remember and rebuild. Families come to us for counselling and emotional support, for Coffee Connect and group sessions, for events and days out, and simply for the relief of being with people who understand. None of it costs a family a penny — which means all of it depends on kindness like yours.

Your questions answered

Is my donation secure?

Yes. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure pages — your card details never touch our website.

What is Gift Aid, and should I add it?

If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid lets us claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no cost to you. Just tick the box and add your home address so we can claim it.

Can I give monthly instead?

Absolutely — regular gifts help us plan support for the future. You can choose a monthly gift on our main donation page.

Can I give in memory of someone?

Yes. You can dedicate your gift to someone you love, and choose to share a tribute on our Memory Wall.

I’m paying in money I’ve fundraised — where do I do that?

Use the form on our donation page and tick “I’m paying in fundraising” so we can thank you properly and record it against your event.

Can I cover the card fees?

Please do if you can — there’s a tick box on the form. It means every penny of your gift reaches our families.
