Support for Families of Children Living with Medical Complexities
We support children and young people living with medical complexities as well as their parents and siblings.
Eligibility (based on NICE Guidelines):
- Group 1 — Life-threatening conditions
Curative treatment may be feasible but can fail. Examples: cancer, irreversible organ failure (heart, liver, kidneys). - Group 2 — Conditions with inevitable premature death
Examples: Cystic Fibrosis, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. - Group 3 — Progressive conditions without curative treatments
Examples: Batten Disease, MPS disorders. - Group 4 — Irreversible, non-progressive conditions causing severe disability
Leading to vulnerability to health complications. Examples: severe Cerebral Palsy, multiple disabilities following brain/spinal injury.

Support for Families of Child Loss
We support both parents and siblings following the loss of a child. Every family's grief journey is different, and we are here to provide a safe, compassionate space to navigate this difficult time.
Eligibility:
- The child was aged 21 years or under
- Loss occurred within the last 5 years
- We consider referrals for any type of child loss
We consider each case individually and will make a sensitive assessment.
