As the builders safely return to the Retreat and the final tiles are laid in both brand-new Changing Places, our team has been reflecting on the fun times that await families.
A special visitor, who has worked with children with complex and additional needs for over 30 years across Greater Manchester, recently visited. She shared that she had never seen anything like our activity wing and was deeply moved.
From January 2021, changes to building regulations through the Changing Places consortium require thousands of large, well-equipped accessible toilet facilities in new public buildings across England.
